Cape Cod Resilience Fund
Hello crafty friends. Today I wanted to give my friend, Jenn Shurkus a huge shout out for her endeavor to support the local businesses of Cape Cod. See, I live in Massachusetts and the Cape means a lot to me as I have so many fond memories enjoying the beaches, riding the Cape Cod Rail Trail and summering in one of the loveliest places on Earth. Jenn Shurkus is pledging to donate $10.00 from each sale of her exclusive Cape Cod stamp set to the Cape Cod Resilience Fund from love.live.local which is a shop on the Cape that sells crafts from local artists. My blog post today is dedicated to sharing some inspiration from this exclusive Cape Cod stamp set. You can buy the set directly from Jenn Shurkus here. Please read on for how I made some interactive cards with the really cute images from this exclusive set. I have included affiliate links within this post. If you choose to purchase through these links, I receive a small commission at no cost to you. I am pledging to donate the affiliate monies I receive from this post to the Cape Cod Resilience Fund.
Lawn Fawn Flippin' Awesome
The Cape Cod National Seashore is a wonderful stretch of beautiful beaches. I grew up swimming and walking these beaches. I used the Lawn Fawn Flippin Awesome interactive die set to make this card which depicts 4 beach scenes. Flippin Awesome is easy to use and makes a really cool interactive card; when you pull on the tab, each of the panels flips up revealing a different scene.
Lawn Fawn Pivot PopUp
Cape Cod is home to beautiful scenery and unique places. My favorite part of being on Cape is experiencing the natural beauty of the landscape. I wanted to depict some of those landscapes in this card. The pivot popup features a hidden mechanism inside the card that pops up when it is opened. The cards come together quickly, too.
Lawn Fawn Reveal Wheel
Provincetown is on the tip of Cape Cod and is known for its unique character and vibrant community. This reveal wheel shows a bevy of tiny rainbow lobsters sharing their pride for Provincetown. You can turn the wheel to reveal your favorite lobster color. Did you know that lobsters come in a variety of colors?
Thank you so much for joining me today. I hope I inspired you with these different ways to build interactive cards with this stamp set. Please leave me a comment below letting me know your favorite memory of Cape Cod. Thank you so much for visiting my blog today. Have a crafty day!
