Is it possible to have a favorite Paint-A-Flower? Well the PAF Rosa Floribunda is my favorite. Shhh...don't tell the other PAF stamp sets. This bouquet of beautiful tea roses are perfect for coloring in any medium. If you are joining us on the hop today, you have just come from Joylita Dsouza of Handcrafted by Joy and your next stop is Ishani from Quilish. For more information, head over to the Altenew blog.
I love watercolor painting and decided to use the wonderful Woodless Watercolor Pencils from Altenew. Check out my project and leave a comment to enter the generous giveaway sponsored by Altenew. Altenew Woodless Watercolor Pencils
The perfect pairing of a Paint A Flower stamp set are the Altenew Woodless Watercolor Pencils. These pigment sticks have bright, rich color and blend so well. Using the pencil gives you a lot of control and I am able to easily lay down color.
Antique Gold Embossing Powder
Stamping in embossing ink and then heat setting Antique Gold Embossing powder allows for a defined line on the image. Since the embossing powder is raised from the surface of the paper, wells are created. The wells allow for the ink to stay in place. The defined lines mean that blending is easier as the edge is always present. I like the soft look of the embossing powder vs the ink. The sentiment comes from the stencils within the Craft Your Life Kit - Garden Rose.

Thanks Helen. I like to mix up colors to give depth. As long as the colors are analogous (meaning that they are next to each other on the color wheel) thus works and doesn’t make a muddy mess.

Thanks Cyndi. These watercolor pencils are really great. They lay down intense color and allow for control over where the pigment lands. Love them. Thanks for stopping by.
